Zoto, a mobile payment app used by over one million Nigerians, has announced a new app design.
It also announced an introductory sale of the app for N1 for a limited period.
In addition to subscription recharges, TV and broad band payments, the new app comes with services like electricity and betting payments also.
Zoto’s co-founder Oshone Ikazoboh, who announced this at a news briefing in Zoto’s Lagos office, said the new app will further improve the experience of payments.
Ikazoboh said users of Zoto Wallet can make payments within 5 seconds without going through the tedious process of bank OTP and each payment is secured and complies with the policies of the Central Bank of Nigeria.
He explained that electronic payments in Nigeria suffer from high failure rate, OTP delays, and poor user experience as existing solutions are not reliable and mobile friendly.
