Yobo Asks Onyekuru To Quit Monaco

Former Super Eagles captain, Joseph Yobo has urged Henry Onyekuru to quit Ligue 1 club, as Monaco, as soon as possible, over the winger’s lack of game time.

Onyekuru signed for the former French champions from Everton after his impressive loan spell with Galatasaray last season.

the Nigerian scored 14 goals in 30 league appearances for the Istanbul Giants in his second loan spell away from Everton.

he never played for the premier league side, a situation which Yobo described as “sad”.

but, Yobo insists the Onyekuru must end his spell in Monaco’s nightmare, latest January, to revive his career.

so far this season, Onyekuru made only four appearances in all competitions for his club.

he also lost his place in the national team as a result.
