West Ham United are targeting two Nigerian attackers in the transfer as they ready a second bid to land Henry Onyekuru from Kas Eupen.
Onyekuru, 20, is regarded as one of the brightest young attacking talents in European football and has just enjoyed a prolific season in Europe.
The player has long been linked with Arsenal, but the Hammers reportedly made an official bid of £7-million last week.
This failed to meet Eupen’s asking price, but the London side is set to return with another offer in the near future – and they will also try to sign Kelechi Iheanacho from Manchester City.
“West Ham are going to put in a second bid for Henry Onyekuru,” a top source is quoted by All Nigeria Soccer. “They will also bid for Kelechi (Iheanacho).
“The first bid was rejected because Eupen believe he is worth more money, but West Ham are very keen on Henry.”
