Super eagles skipper, Ahmed Musa’s proposed transfer to English Premier League strugglers, West Brom, is offaccording to allnigeriasoccer.com
Musa had passed a fitness test at the club’s training centre in Walsall last Thursday, which would have paved the way for him to sign a short-term contract with the club.
But West Brom has a limited transfer budget and the owners have refused to dip into their pockets to fund the signing of Musa, thereby throwing a spanner in the works.
The representatives of the former Cska Moscow star gave a deadline to West Brom to complete the transfer of Musa and it has now expired, so both parties have pulled the plug on the deal.
The 28-year-old is exploring other options before making a decision on his next career move.
Musa has been on the lookout for a new club since he mutually terminated his lucrative contract with Saudi Arabian pro league side,Al-Nassr, last October.
