Wafu u-20: flying eagles thrash Ghana 4-2

Nigeria’s flying eagles have qualified for the semi-final of the Wafu U20 under-20 cup tournament with a 4-2 victory over arch rivals, Ghana.

The game witnessed a great improvement from the flying eagles who were not impressive against Niger republic.

But it was the black satellites who raced to the lead courtesy of Toku in the 28th minute.

One minute before halftime, Nigeria restored parity through Enyimba youngster Maxwell Michael. 

Abubakar Ibrahim converted a spot kick to put Nigeria in front after 77 minutes.

Wasiu Alalade grabbed the third goal before Effiom complete his brace to make the scoreline 4-1.

Toku also got a double when he reduced the deficit for the black satellites.

Effiom was voted man of the match at the end of proceedings.
