Troops have killed 28 out Boko Haram fighters who invaded Gujiba Local Government Area on Saturday
Several among the invading insurgents also escaped with gunshot wounds
One troop died and another injured during the heavy fighting, before the insurgents were flushed out of the axis
Acting Director of Defence Media Operations, Brigadier General Bernard Onyeuko, in a statement says the attack was repelled in an ambush laid by troops and their superior firepower against the insurgents
According to him, the troops captured from the insurgents, two anti-aircraft guns and 13 AK-47 rifles and four extra magazines
Onyeuko also says that one Boko Haram Guntruck was destroyed with its occupants, and another Guntruck captured
