Ogun state government has blamed the delay in allocating shops in the new shopping malls it constructed in Abeokuta to traders, on the huge number of applications it received from prospective Allottees.

the shopping malls were constructed on the sites of Omida, itoku and Sapon markets as well as Isale Igbein, where traders were displaced for the massive road expansion project in Abeokuta.
Adegbite who said the state government had been under pressures over the shopping malls, promised that the shops would be allocated after the completion of the projects
