A premium brand from Cadbury Nigeria Plc, TomTom has signed a new three-year contract with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) that confers the product as the official candy of the Super Eagles.
NFF President Amaju Pinnick said the partnership with TomTom is part of the preparation for the World Cup in Russia, and efforts of the NFF to ensure that the country’s football continues to develop and attract interest.
Managing Director of Cadbury, Amir Shamsi, speaking at the official signing of the partnership agreement in Lagos said the deal aims at renewing partnership and not about signing a new contract.
Cadbury, according to him, will leverage on the partnership to bring glory to the national teams at every tournament. “We are grateful to TomTom for being a backbone of all our national teams.”
Also, the Brand Manager, Candy West Africa, Aruleba Olumide said the “company is happy to support the Super Eagles and urge all Nigerians to go all out and support the Eagles cheering them to victory.”
