Three Tiers Of Govt Share N616bn Revenue For April

Federal, State and Local Governments have shared revenue totaling n616.19 billion as their allocation from the Federation Account for the month of April.

Acting Accountant General of the Federation, K. Usman, announced this at the end of the monthly meeting of the Federation Account Allocation Committee in Abuja.

Federal Government receives n253.9 billion,36 State Governments (n168.05 billion), 774 Local Governments (n126.2 billion).

The oil producing States received extra allocation of n46.35 billion as 13 percent derivation.

Usman puts the distributable revenue, including the Value-Added-Tax and Foreign Exchange Differentials.
