Three tiers of government share N610bn revenue for November

New executive order will boost revenue generation – Presidency

Hope has further risen that workers in public sector will receive their salaries before Christmas, as the three tiers of government shared revenue totalling N609.9 billion from the federation account for the month of November.

It is N77.25 billion higher than the revenue shared in the month of October.

Accountant General of the Federation, Ahmed Idris, announced this on Saturday night at the end of the monthly meeting of the federation account allocation committee in Abuja.

Giving a breakdown of the shared revenue, Idris said federal government received N248.2 billion, 36 state governments shared N125.9 billion and N97.09 billion billion by 774 local governments.

Oil producing states also got N43.22 billion as 13 per cent derivation.
