Seven persons, including three suicide bombers, have died in the latest bomb attack in Maiduguri, the Borno state capital.
Eight other persons were also injured in the bomb attack on Saturday night.
Police spokesman, Victor Isuku, said the three suicide bombers, a man and two women, had blown up themselves while attempting to enter Umarari village on the outskirts of the city.
According to Isuku, the explosion from the improvised explosive device strapped to the bodies of the suicide bombers also killed a local vigilante, a woman and her two children.
“Four people which include a Civilian JTF, a woman and her two children died while eight others sustained injuries,” he said.
