A three-storey building has collapsed at the Alaba International Market, Ojoo, in Lagos State.
The building collapsed on Tuesday at Saka Oloro street, Ilufe road, off the market.
The South West spokesman of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Ibrahim Farinloye, in a statement, said no one was trapped or injured in the collapsed building.
“All residents of the structure had evacuated the building since Monday evening, when it started manifesting distress signs.
“Operations are, however, ongoing at the premises for the retrieval of personal properties of the occupants,” Farinloye said.
All the occupants of the building, according to Farinloye, vacated the building since Monday evening when they noticed sign of collapse.
