Three Nigerian pilgrims held for drug trafficking in Saudi Arabia

Three Nigerian Hajj pilgrims have been arrested in Saudi Arabia for being in possession of substance suspected to be cocaine.

Making this known is the executive secretary of the Kwara state Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Hajia Fatima Abolore-Jimoh.

The pilgrims whose names were not released, were arrested by the Saudi authorities in Madinah.

She said three pilgrims were among the first batch of 505 pilgrims from Kwara state.
