The proposed 500,000 graduate teachers’ recruitment begins in July

The long awaited recruitment of 500,000 graduates for teaching jobs will begin in July.

Labour and employment minister, Senator Chris Ngige, announced this in Geneva, Switzerland, at a meeting of the international labour organization.

The Minister said the Presidency would soon open a portal to enable eligible graduates to apply for the jobs.

The 500,000 jobs is one of the social intervention projects which received massive allocation in the 2016 budget of the federal government.
