Super Eagles arrive France ahead of friendly clash against Corsica

Super Eagles players have arrived in France.

They were scheduled to depart for Corsica Tuesday night for preparations towards next month’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier, against South Africa.

Meanwhile, the players will face Corsica on Friday in Ajaccio, and confront Togo in Paris, six days later.

Nigeria and South Africa will meet in the 2019 AFCON qualifier at the  Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, on June 10.

The Super Eagles Technical Adviser Gernot Rohr as well as Chief Coach Salisu Yusuf and goalkeepers’ trainer Alloy Agu are all on ground.

According to updates from the camp, the players that have already arrived for Friday’s game include the home-based quartet of Ikechukwu Ezenwa, Alhassan Ibrahim, Stephen Odey and Sikiru Olatubosun.

The early arrivals in camp also include; Tyronne Ebuehi, William Troost-Ekong, Elderson Echiejile, Uche Agbo, Chidozie Awaziem, Ogehenekaro Etebo, Dele Alampasu and Arsenal target Henry Onyekuru who was earlier reported to doubtful for Friday’s game.
