A faction of the south west PDP leaders have met in Ibadan, asking the National Leadership to allocate the National Chairmanship slot to the region.
The Zonal leaders in a communique issued at the end of the meeting said south west is the only region yet to produce a national chairman for PDP.
The meeting presided over by Chief Shuaib Oyedokun, was attended by Former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dimeji Bankole, Senator Buruji Kashamu, Barrister Jimo Ibrahim, Fatai Adeyamnju, Chief Makanjuola Ogundipe and Senator Teslim Folarin.
Addressing the meeting, Bankole asked People Democratic Party leaders in the region to negotiate before talking of reconciliation, warning there would be no reconciliation without negotiation.
