South West APC leaders have demanded the introduction of true federalism as part of urgent moves needed to restructure the country for meaningful development.
Such restructuring, they said would release the innate energy of Nigerians, and opens a new vista of development.
The South West APC conference in a communique issued at the end of its meeting held in Ibadan, also called for a review of the presidential system of government, saying the system was too expensive and corrupt.
The APC leaders complained that the zone was yet to feel the positive impact of the Buhari admnistration as expected, while advocating the introduction of compulsory and free education in the zone.
The meeting was attended by APC leaders, including Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Governors Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo state, Rauf Aregbesola of Osun state, as well as Deputy Governor Yetunde Onanuga of Ogun state.
