Super Eagle’s winger, Moses Simon ended his goal drought by finding the net for Nantes as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Dijon on Sunday
Simon had not scored for six league games but ended that poor run when he broke the deadlock in the 24th minute.
Jonathan Panzo from Dijon conceded a penalty for tripping Renaud Emond and the referee decided to stay with the initial call for a penalty after a var check.
Simon did not tremble and converted the spot kick for only his second goal of the season. Simon has not reached the heights of last season that saw him directly involved in 17 goals (9 goals, 8 assists) in 30 appearances across all competitions, leading to Nantes signing him on a permanent basis from Levante.
