Ogun State Housing Corporation says it finalizes plan to develop over 500 housing units on a 26 hectare of land in Idi Aba area of Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital.
The project which will costs $11 million, is to be financed by a Kenyan based Shelter Afrique, at a single digit interest rate.
The state governor’s Special Adviser on Housing, Olajumoke Akinwunmi, made this known in Abeokuta, while receiving in his office, members of the state house of assembly’s land and housing committee on a visit to assess the implementation of the 2016 budget of the corporation.
She said proposed Idi Aba housing project will be included two and three bedroom flats, terraces, semi-detached and fully detached bungalows a d self-built houses on serviced plots.
Akinwunmi said the corporation would soon send a request seeking approval for the $11 million loan to the assembly.
