The Senate has promised to give priority to the passage of the 2017 appropriation bill when its members resume from a three week recess.
Senate spokesman, Sabi Abdullahi, said the bill will be speedily considered.
The Senate, according to him, will ensure that the bill that will be passed could be implemented by the Presidency.
The Presidency, in the bill, proposes to spend over N7 trillion for recurrent and capital expenditure this year.
