The Senate is to begin deliberation on the 2018 N8.6 trillion Appropiation Bill next week.
The senators will discuss the bill along with the Medium Term Expenditure Framework and fiscal strategy papers, which is yet to be approved.
Senate President, Bukola Saraki, who announced this during the Thursday plenary, said the deliberation will begin on the general principle of the appropriation bill on Wednesday, next week, and ends the following day.
He asked senators seeking to contribute to the debate, to indicate by writing their names in the register.
Chairman of the Senate Media and Publicity Committee, Aliyu Abdullahi, said copies of the bill presented to the National Assembly, is being mass produced for distribution to them.
President Muhammadu Buhari submitted the appropriation bill, to a joint session of the National Assembly last November 7.
