Saraki says he’ll resist impeachment by less than 73 Senators

Senate President, Bukola Saraki

Senate President, Bukola Saraki, said he will resign his post whenever he loses the support of senators that he is presiding over.

The Senate President, however, said it requires, at least, two third of members of the senate or 73 Senators to impeach him.

Saraki, speaking at a news conference in Abuja, vows to resist any move to impeach him by unconstitional means.

The Senate President alleges that the blockade of the National Assembly by operatives of Department of Security Service is the handiwork of a cabal in the Buhari administration.

Saraki reminds Nigerians that he alerted them two years ago that there was a government within the Buhari administration.
