House of Representatives plans to revisit the amended Electoral Act, in view of the conduct of the 2019 Polls.
President Buhari had vetoed the amended Electoral Act bill sent to him by the National Assembly for his assent.
The rejection of the bill compels Independent National Electoral Commission to use the existing Electoral Act in conduct of the ongoing polls.
The House leader, Femi Gbajabiamila, announces the plan to revisit the Act, while briefing newsmen along with other APC lawmakers on the outcome of the 2019 Polls.
Gbajabiamila says holistic review of the Act is necessary, to address the grey areas and shortcoming in the conduct of the 2019 Polls.
