President Muhammadu Buhari has asked Nigerians to remember soldiers fighting Boko Haram forces in North East region, as they celebrate Christmas today.
Buhari in his Christmas message, pleaded with Nigerians to appreciate the sacrifices being made by the troops in the frontline, to keep the country safe and secure.
He also called for prayers for soldiers wounded from attacks by insurgents, lying in hospitals, and the civilians who suffer from insurgency, particularly those in the internally displaced camps.
Promising that better days are ahead, the President urged Nigerians to be patient.
On the yuletide, Buhari said it is a season to show love to one another, encourage unity by spending quality time with friends, families and the less privileged.
