Enugu Rangers picked up the pieces of their stuttering season with a 3-1 win over Kano Pillars in a rescheduled Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) match on Sunday.
Chibuzor Madu, Chiamaka Madu and Ifeanyi George scored for the Nigerian champions.
Adamu Mohammed’s strike for Kano pillars represented a mere consolation.
The 3-1 success over Kano Pillars have only taken Rangers’ points to 16 from 15 games, five less from safety.
The champions still remain rooted to bottom spot and still have rescheduled matches to play against Wikki Tourists, Sunshine Stars, Plateau United and Gombe United.
The Flying Antelopes have been under serious fire of late, as a result of their elimination from continental tournaments and their indifferent form in the league. Please subscribe to our newsletter
