Public holiday declared for end of Ramadan

Tuesday and Wednesday next week have been declared work-free by the Presidency, to mark the Eid-el Fitri celebration.

Interior Minister, Leuitenant General Abduraman Dambazzau, in a statement, urged all Nigerians to use the period to reflect on the imperative of unity and peaceful co-existence.

The minister said this would strengthen the bond of unity, togetherness for a strong and united Nigeria.

He also enjoined Muslim faithfuls and Nigerians in general, to extend the spiritual benefits of Ramadan which according to him is love, peace and justice in their daily living.
