Protesters Back Akeredolu On Deadline To Herders In Forest Reserves

There has been a major protests in Ondo state over the rise in kidnapping and killings by suspected herders in the state

The protests were staged by commercial drivers, forest guards and farmers in the state

They carried placards, and declared supper for the deadline issued by the state government for herders to leave forest reserves in the state

According to them, several of them had been abducted and killed by the herders operating from the forest reserves in the state

They claimed that they are no longer safe, warning that there will be chaos and famine as farmers could no longer access their farms to avoid being abducted by herders Governor Rotimi Akeredolu had issued a seven day deadline for the herders to vacate the reserves, ban night grazing across the state
