13 others sustained injuries in the attack on a mosque, during an early morning prayers in the senior staff quarters of the university.
One of the two suicide bombers, a seven year old girl, was among those killed in the bomb attack.
The explosion caused panic in the university.
Meanwhile, a third suicide bomber, a 12-year-old girl heading to the university campus had been intercepted.
The girl was sighted at Blaka village behind the university by villagers who promptly alerted the military.
