PRESIDENT ZUMA PLEDGES SOUTH AFRICA’S RETURN OF CONFISCATED NIGERIAN FUND

The visiting South Africa president, Jacob Zuma, has promised that his country would ensure that Nigerian fund confiscated during the Jonathan administration is returned to Nigeria.

Zuma who made the promise at a joint news conference with President Muhammadu Buhari at the presidential villa, Abuja, said both nations are working together on the issue.

The South African president said some of the fund is being recovered.

He said that investigations are ongoing to ensure that anything taken out of Nigeria to South Africa are returned.

The South African president also called for unity between Nigeria and South Africa.
