Presidency warns tertiary institutions, over post UTME charges

The presidency has warned tertiary institutions not to charge more than N2, 000 for their Post Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Post UTME).

Education Minister, Mallam Adamu Adamu, issued the warning at the on-going Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB), at a workshop, in Gbongan, Osun State.

The minister said, stiffer penalties await any of the institutions which charge above N2, 000.

He also asked tertiary institutions not to admit any student before the end of the two day policy meeting.
