Presidency Promises New Wage Talks With Senior Civil Servants

Federal Government says it is ready for negotiations on the new national minimum wage with senior civil servants.

The salaries of those categorized as senior civil servants are above the N30,000 national monthly minimum wage just approved by the Senate and House of Representatives.

Budget and National Planning Minister, Udo Udoma, told the Senate Committee on Finance that the negotiations will commence immediately the new national minimum wage is ratified by President Muhammadu Buhari.
