Presidency awards N9.3bn contract to reconstruct Ijebu Igbo road with Ekiti

Federal Executive Council has approved the construction of Ijebu Igbo-Ita Egba Owonowen situated in Ogun and Ondo State.

The project awarded to Messrs DC Engineering at a cost of N9.3 billion, is one of the 14 road projects approved by the council, at a cost of N185.2 billion,  at its weekly meeting presided over by president Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Presidential Spokesman, Femi Adesina, announced the approval after the meeting of the council.

Adesina also said that the council also approved the construction of Ado-Ifaki-Otun road at Kwara state border in Ekiti State at a cost of N6 billion.

Earlier, the council had approved the reconstruction of two other road projects, the Lagos-Abeokuta and Sagamu-Ikorodu.
