Police in Lagos say they have intercepted a truckload of toxic meat and processed cow skin, popularly called ponmo.
Six persons were arrested for warehousing the toxic ponmo at a shop located in Igando axis of the city.
Spokesman of the State Police Command, Bala Elkana, says a huge consignment of meat and dangerous chemical used in preserving the cow skin was found in the truck at a warehouse.
Elkana explains that Police are investigating the source of the chemical and where the ponmo preserved with it are being taken to.
