PDP senators keep vigil on National Assembly over Saraki impeachment

Ondo Poll: PDP Heads for Tribunal

PDP senators are now keeping vigil at the national assembly, to prevent APC from embarking on an impeachment process against the senate president.

Senator Phillip Guyunk of PDP, who made this known, while declaring his interest to contest the Nasarawa State’s 2019 governorship poll in Lafia, said PDP senators have divided themselves into two groups.

Some of the senators, according to him, spent the whole night at the national assembly on daily basis, while another group of PDP senators are stationed in daytime at the assembly, to watch out for any attempt by APC senators to impeach Saraki.

Senator Guyunk, however, assures that APC senators could not mobilize 73 senators required to impeach the senate president.
