PDP Says 2023 Presidency Not On Its Agenda For Now

The PDP national working committee says it is not yet discussing the forthcoming 2023 presidential poll.

The party national publicity secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan says reports that it is already discussing the 2023 presidency, shortly, after its lost its 2019 polls petition at the supreme court, is speculative

Ologbondiyan, addressing newsmen in Abuja, explains that PDP at the moment is busy with preparing for the Bayelsa and Kogi States governorship polls coming up on november 16

He describes the report which also says PDP will retain the zoning formula it adopted in picking its 2019 presidential poll candidates for the 2023 polls, as a ploy to cause disaffection within the party

Also, the PDP says its state governors are not divided over any 2023 agenda.
