PDP has refused to sign the results sheet of the presidential poll at the national coalition centre, Abuja.
The party’s agent, Osita Chidoka, who earlier raised some questions on the conduct of the polls, left the venue when Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Professor Mahmoud Yakubu, asked party agents to come forward and signed the results sheets.
PDP, hours before INEC declaration of President Buhari as the winner of the Presidential Poll, had asked INEC to stop the collation of the poll’s results.
The party told INEC to resume the collation of the results only after making available the data recorded by the smart card reader machines during the poll nationwide.
Director General in charge of admnistration of the Atiku campaign organization, Tamiun Turaki, alleges manipulation, rigging and over-voting in all the APC controlled states during the poll.
PDP further alleges that data from the card reader machines are being reconfigured by INEC, adding that it has evidence that data from the card reader had been tampered with.
It demands the cancellation of the Presidential Polls conducted in Borno, Yobe, Zamfara, Nasarawa, and the restoration of cancelled votes in Plateau, Federal capital Territory and Kogi.
