PDP has asked the President of the Presidential Poll Petitions Tribunal, Justice Zainab Bukachaluwa to step aside.
PDP in a letter to the Tribunal President, who is the President of the Court of Appeal, says it doubts her neutrality in presiding over the petition.
PDP in the protest letter jointly signed by its National Chairman and National Publicity Secretary, alleges that the husband of Justice Bulkachaluwa is an elected Senator on the platform of APC in the February 2019 Polls.
The Party says its fear is worsened by the Appeal Court’s President appointing herself as the Chairman of the Tribunal.
The Tribunal is saddled with the task of handling the petitions of four candidates, including that of PDP, Atiku Abubakar, who are challenging the election of President Buhari of APC in the February 23 Poll.
