PDP has asked independent national electoral commission (INEC) to allow one of the two top audit firms to verify the sensitive electoral material being recalled and deposited with the central bank of Nigeria.
The party, in a letter to INEC, names the preferred audit firms as KPMG and Pricewatercoopers.
PDP National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus, also asks INEC not to involve a company, activate technologies limited in the collection and configuration of the smartcard reader machines.
The party also asks INEC Chairman, Professor Mahmoud Yakubu, to make further clarification on his claims that some elements attempted to sabotage the electoral body in the conduct of the postponed polls.
