Governor Seyi Makinde says arrangements are being finalized for the establishment of Oyo State version of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
He says that his administration has prepared a Bill that will be sent to the State House of Assembly to get a legal backing for the proposed anti graft agency.
Makinde spoke on the proposal during a courtesy call on the State Chief Judge, Justice Munta Abimbola in his office in Ibadan.
The Governor pleads with the Judiciary to assist in operating the proposed anti corruption agency.
Again, Makinde promises to waive his constitutional immunity to appear before the agency if he is found to have tampered with public funds.
