Osun River Flooded Part Of Osogbo

Osun river has overflown its bank in Osun State, wreaking havoc in Osogbo, the state capital, after continuous rainfall.

The river started overflowing its bank last Friday, following rain which started falling on Thursday, and continued on Friday and Saturday night.

Areas mostly affected by the flood water from the river, include Gbodofon, Onitodu, Baruwa, Aworuru, Idowu Ajibola, Oke Arugbin Estate and Ibu Azumo.

Several houses and properties were flooded in the area.
