Former Governor Olusegun Osoba has dismissed speculations that he is engaging in rivalry with Governor Ibikunle Amosun.
Osoba said by July 1, he will be seventy one year old, and feels insulted whenever he heard the insinuation in some quarters that himself and Governor Amosun are rivals.
Amosun, according to Osoba, is the Ogun State executive governor, and he must be accorded all the necessary respect due to his office.
The governor who said he endorsed Thursday’s meeting of his faction with Governor Amosun, described APC in Ogun State as a united family.
Also speaking after the meeting, a top member of Osoba faction, Senator Gbenga Kaka, said the crisis in Ogun APC is over.
Kaka explained that both Governor Amosun and Osoba will largely determine who becomes Ogun state next governor in 2019.
