Ondo To Use N50bn Bond To Finance Projects

Ondo State Government says its proposed #50 billion bond will be spent on infrastructural projects.

It dismisses speculation in some quarters that the #50 billion bond is to be spent, to actualize the second term agenda of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu in 2020.

Information Commissioner, Donald Ojogo, addressing newsmen in Akure, says the fund when raised will be used to complete ongoing infrastructural projects and execute new ones.

The state house of assembly last week approved the request of the state government to raise #50 billion from the capital market.
