Ogun council asks House of Assembly to intervene in boundary disputes

Ogun West elders say they have not endorsed any of the aspirants from the senatorial district, seeking to contest in the state’s 2019 governorship poll.

The elders, however, said they are in talks with seven governorship aspirants from the district, who have indicated interest in the 2019 poll, to unite them and ensure that Ogun West produce the next governor.

Chairman of the Ogun West Elders Council, Chief Ajibola Olagbaye, who made this known at a news conference in Abeokuta, explained that the council is liaising with Governor Ibikunle Amosun, to actualize the Ogun West 2019 governorship agenda.

According to him, any of the aspirants from the district is capable of taking over from Governor Ibikunle Amosun and continue with all the projects and programmes of his administration in the state.
