Ogun State Government says it has identified no fewer than 160 public primary& secondary schools requiring rehabilitation across the State.
The proposed rehabilitation, is part of programmes to mark hundred days of Dapo Abiodun administration in office.
Permanent Secretary in the State’s Education Science and Technology Ministry, Mr Olu-Ola Aikulola, made this known after monitoring of the ongoing 2019 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) across the State.
According to Aikulola, on the spot inspections aim at identifying and finding a lasting solution to the cases of disrepair in which many of the schools are currently in.
The Permanent Secretary explains that rehabilitation exercise will be jointly carried out by the State’s Education Science and Technology Ministry and its housing counterpart.
The monitoring team comprising management team of the Ministry visited some of the public and private secondary schools in the three Senatorial Districts of the State.
