The crisis in Ogun State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is not yet over, as two of its chieftains asked a federal high court, in Abuja, to sack the state working committee.
The chieftains who instituted the legal action ahead of the party state congress are Chief Moyo Agoro and Alhaji Taofeek Oshundara, who is the state youth leader.
In their application before the court, they said tenure of the state PDP executive committee led by Chief Adebayo Dayo has expired.
They told the court that continuation in office by the executive committee was illegal and a gross violation of the party’s constitution.
Joined in the suit are the independent national electoral commission (INEC), the state PDP chairman, and secretary, Alhaji Semiu Sodipo
