Ogun Screens Candidates Into Flagship Schools

Ogun state government has begun screening of candidates seeking admission into its 42 flagship public secondary schools across the state for the 2021/2022 academic session

About 20,000 of the applicants had been screened so far

Education, Science and Technology commissioner, Professor Abayomi Argbabu, made this known while leading a team from his ministry to monitor the screening exercise in the Ijebu and Remo axis of the state

The commissioner expresses satisfaction with the conduct of the screening exercise, particularly the compliance with the Covid 19 protocols

Arigbabu says the success of the online registration for the exercise has shown that computer based test could be adopted for the next edition of the entrance examination

The schools visited by the commissioner and his team, included Anglical Girls grammar School, Adeola Odutola College, and Ijebu Ode Grammar School, all in Ijebu Ode, and Muslim College in Ijebu Igbo

Others were the Mayflower Secondary School, Ikenne, Remo Secondary School, Remo Division High School, in Sagamu and Ode Remo High School
