Ogun State PDP House of Representatives poll candidate for the Abeokuta South Federal Constituency, Segun Sowunmi has promised to provide quality representation for the people, if elected in the rescheduled presidential and national assembly polls on Saturday.
Sowunmi expresses concern over the quality of representation the Federal Constituency is having at the House of Representatives.
The PDP candidate, speaking at a media interaction in Abeokuta, says Abeokuta South Federal Constituency deserves a vibrant representation, in terms of projects, given the level of its development and exposure.
Sowunmi, who also is one of the spokesman of PDP presidential candidate faults President Buhari’s directive to security agencies to deal ruthlessly with ballot box snatchers and those attempting to disrupt the polls.
Buhari addressing APC caucus in Abuja on Monday warns that they will pay with their lives.
Sowunmi says such a statement by the President is capable of threatening the country’s democracy and peaceful co-existence of Nigerians.
He explains that Buhari should have directs security agencies to deal with such people in line with the electoral act rules of law.
Assuring that PDP will never support ballot snatching or any act of criminality during the polls, Sowunmi asks Nigerians to vote massively for PDP presidential candidate.
