Ogun New CP Pledges To Ensure A More Secured State

New Ogun State Police Commissioner, Bashir Makama, has promised to ensure that Police Officers redouble their efforts to further secure the State from criminals.

He also pledges to serve people of the state without any of their human rights being abused by Policemen.

Makama made the promises while the out gone State Police Commissioner, Ahmed Ilyasu was handing over to him at a ceremony held at the Police Command Headquarters in Abeokuta.

The new Police Commissioner, however, says he will not tolerate the manhandling of any Police Officer while on duty to secure lives and properties in the State.

The Police Chief says he could not understand why a Police Officer will be subjected to any form of humiliation while discharging his or her constitutional duty.

The out gone Police Commissioner, Ahmed Iliyasu, expresses gratitude to all stakeholders in the state for contributing towards achieving a secured state during his tenure

He asks the major stakeholders to extend the support given to him to the new Police Commissioner.

Iliyasu says he is happy because he is leaving behind Ogun State more peaceful than how he met it, while asking the new Police Commissioner to surpass that feat.
