Ogun issues deadline to shop allottees in Abeokuta shopping malls

Allottees of new shopping malls in Abeokuta, have been given up till today, by Ogun State government to occupy them and start trading in them.

At the expiration of the deadline, the state government warned that allottees who fail to comply with the directive will forfeit their allotted shops in the malls.

The state governor’s senior special assistant on facility management, Segun Adebayo, who issues the directive, says between 30 to 40 per cent of the allotted shops in the malls, located at Sapon, Omida, Itoku, Kemta Oloko, Isale Igbehin, Laderin and Imo, all in Abeokuta metropolis, are yet to be occupied.

According to him, 27 out of the 52 shops allocated in the mall at Omida, are yet to be occupied, while at Laderin, only 12 out 48 allocated shops were occupied.

Also at Kemta Oloko, only four out of 48 shops occupied, at Itoku, only 82 out of 130 occupied, at Sapon, Only 45 out of 91 of the shops occupied, while only 37 out of 64 shops allocated at Isale Igbehin Shopping Mall are now occupied.
