Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State has relocated his official residence from his country’s home in Iperu Remo, to Abeokuta, the state capital
Rockcity FM correspondent, Olabisi Adedamola, says the governor now report for duty daily at the governor’s office, Oke Mosan, Abeokuta from his new official residence in the Ibara government residential area in the city
The official residence is located within the presidential lodge annex, instead of the government house, Oke Igbein, Abeokuta, where his predecessor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun stayed throughout his eight year tenure
Ahead of his relocation last week, structures in the presidential lodge to serve as his official residence, were reconstructed and renovated
Until now, the governor had been residing at his Iperu Remo country home from where he reported for duty daily at the governor’s office, Oke Mosan, Abeokuta
His relocation to the presidential lodge, Ibara, has increased the traffic of vehicles, top government officials, politicians and visitors to the axis of the Ibara residential area
